This week’s episode of Top Chef Paula Dean joins as the guest judge, and old members rejoin as a team to help out the contestants on their upcoming challenge.

For the quickfire, with Paula Dean being there of course it was a southern food challenge. Too bad for Antonia though, she forgot to put out a second plate of her food and was disqualified, even worse, she would have won! But by default Mike won the $5,000, but he won with Richard’s recipe! So Richard definitely wasn’t happy about this.

For their elimination challenge old members came back to lend them a helping hand. Spike went with Antonia, Marcel with Tiffany, Angelo with Dale, Tre with Carla, Tiffany with Mike, and Fabio with Richard.

Their challenge was to make Gulf Coast Seafood for 300 people. Richard passed with flying colors with his cripsy gulf snacker with pulled pork and citrus grits. While Dale, Carla, and Tiffany were on the verge of being eliminated. In the end Dale’s Amberjack stew with Andouille sausage, potatoes, and mustard crouton sent him packing for it’s uncooked potatoes and too much mustard. And he was eliminated from the show.

Be sure to check out next week’s episode, it looks like they will be cooking for their family! Wow, that will be a tough one to go home from.
