We’ve been recently giving you updates on those who are slated to play in one of the most anticipated series ever, Hunger Games! And now we bring to you who these characters are!

Katniss Everdeen
Current breadwinner of her family after her father passed away. She needs to take care of her mother and 12-year-old sister and pretty much has to find food through illegal means. She genuinely cares for everyone and loves her sister so much that she joins Hunger Games in place of her sister. There she learns more about life and how to trust someone.

Gale Hawthorne
He has a similar situation to Katniss in that he also must provide for his family. Perhaps that’s why he and Katniss have bonded so fast because of all they have in common. It is speculated that he has feelings for her, which becomes evident when Katniss and Peeta become romantically involved in the Games.

Peeta Mallark
The male tribute for District 12. He is the son of a baker and thus knows how to ice cakes, which helps him for the Games. He’s also secretly liked Katniss since they were kids and thus has vowed to protect her from harm.

Haymitch Abernathy
The only living District 12 Hunger Games winner who serves as mentor to both Katniss and Peeta. An old drunk, he still gives out wise advice to the two of them.
