The show ‘The Walking Dead‘, shown on AMC, has been confirmed for a third season, after it’s smashing success in the 6 episode first season and the high ratings for the season premiere of the second season. It’s something I’m very excited for, as I love this show just as I love the comics.

The first season began during Halloween of last year and had over 5.3 million viewers and a rating of 2.7 in adults within the age bracket of 18-49. It averaged about 3.5 million in the demo alone, and 5.2 million per episode. The second season is actually being split into two halves, with the first six episodes playing, then a break for holidays, and the second half of the season returning February 12th.

OK, so who else is overjoyed at the thought of a third season, especially since the second season isn’t even over yet? What do you guys think, would you watch the third season, and have you been watching this show?
